James D. Carter

James D. Carter was born Sept. 5, 1960, in Marion, Ind. and died Feb. 19, 2014, at home in Longview.  He is survived by his partents, Mel and Colette Carter of Longview; two siblings, Sharon Carter and Chris Carter, both of Longview; two sons, Christopher Carter and Tyler J. Carter (Lauren), both of Clatskanie; six grandchildren, Mason, Miles, Hailey, Destinee, Gage and Gracie; a niece, Ashley Straw; and a nephew, Christopher James Carter.

A Celebration of Jim’s life is planned for 2 p.m. Friday at Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial
