In Memory

Dave Chamberlain

Dear MMHS Classmates of 1978,

I have very sad news to report.  Dave Chamberlain passed away on July 14th, 2021 at his home in Longview.  Several classmates notified me of the news right away.  This past Monday his family placed the official obituary in The Daily News (Monday 7/19/21).  I will remember Dave as a good teammate and friend.  Our senior year in football we were playing one of the best teams in our league.  Centralia was ranked either #1 or #2 in State.  The game was at Centralia and went into overtime.  Dave was playing defensive end and intercepted a pass and ran it back 90 yards to win the game.  Rest in peace my friend.  Please keep Dave’s Mother and three older brothers (Marv, Vern, & Tom) in your thoughts and prayers.  May they be comforted in this great loss.

Always,

Darren Talley
