William Riley "Bill" Creech VIEW PROFILE

The Daily News – 11/14/17

William R. "Bill" Creech

William Riley Creech, 57, passed away unexpectedly and reunited with his lifelong love Nov. 8, 2017.

Bill was born Feb. 22, 1960, to Riley and Mary-Rose (Mashaw) Creech in Longview where he graduated from LCC in 1991 with two AA degrees. He worked as an electrician at Weyerhaeuser for 26 years before retiring in 2016.

Bill met and fell in love with, Alzora Iddings in middle school, they married in 1979, raised two children, and spent over 40 loving years together. Bill lived for his family and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them, particularly his grandchildren. He also took great joy in the many summers he spent camping with friends and family and being “captain” of his boat.

Bill was honest to a fault, a good listener, and someone you could always depend on. He had a big sense of humor and got a kick out of making others laugh. He was a humble man who enjoyed woodworking, and loved country music and working on cars. He especially enjoyed restoring and fixing up his 1974 Corvette that he dedicated to his wife.

He is survived by a son, Jeremy Creech (Sherel); a daughter, Jamie Creech-Rahier (Jeff); a brother, Gary; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Alzora in 2016.

Per Bill’s specific and adamant wishes there will be no service or memorial, just a private burial at Bunker Hill Cemetery with only his children in attendance.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.
