Carl Corky Washington I hope all agree to this statement - Doesn't our class president rock! Great job Darren pulling all of this together for the 30th reunion! You even got us oldies using modern technology. That's pretty good for someone like me that barely passed typing. ; 0)

Great Job Darren!

Mr. Howley with his crew cut and beard. His black magic marker marks on the floor where the right hand corner of each desk should be and his weekly "Where are you going to be" films. Girls, do you remember his nail clippers?

Some teachers you never seem to forget over the years, some people you never seem to forget as well.

My hat is off to the folks who helped put this whole thing together, including Mr. Witala our DECA teacher who helped with web design, my sorrows to the departed and their families.

Hope to see as many alumni at the reunion as possible.

Hello my fellow Monarchs and greetings from Minnesota...or as pronounce it "Minnesoootaaa" Yes I agree Cork, great job Darren and all for putting this site together. Can't wait to see everyone and catch up in person. Yes, Mr. Hawley might have been a little strict...but he taught all of us how to type! And where would we be if we hadn't learn this skill...see you all in a few weeks.

Agreed Corky, Darren has been a great class President keeping up with all the reunions and getting this site put together.
Wish I could be there for this reunion but as it stands right now its not looking very good........well unless we change the date to sometime in Oct/Nov :)

By the way Edana Dad & I always eat at the Pancake House during hunting season.

Just one more thing, y'all gotta check out Derrick's Highlight Video on Darren's profile, that kid is the real deal............

Mitch Warren Not sure what this complaining about Mr. Hawley is all about. I got an "A" in his class lol. He's a real sweatheart. Darren talked me into being a greeter again this year, so unfortunately, my ugly mug will be the first thing you folks have to see. But don't let that stop ya'll from coming. I promise not to bite. Hi everyone,
I am cracking up- just got an e-mail from Denise Grendon with a Mr. Hawley antidote where he chased her out of class to the office or something. I think it's really funny so many of us thought his class was memorable. So, my payback to Hawley for sticking a ruler constantly between my chair and my backside and barking orders at me, was in the form of school work retaliation. One of our last projects was to type a poem or something "happy/feely" about our senior year. I ripped-off lyrics from a song off of the Eagles Hotel California album and never got called on it. LOL. Got an A.

Hello everyone - Can't wait to see everyone and Darren hats off to you. I have enjoyed talking with everyone and getting caught up. Corky only you would ask about the free pancakes from Edna - Allan and I go there quite often and love it. Shelley Hadley and I just went to Club and had dinner and cocktails and can't wait to see everyone. We are having a pre-function at Club Friday before Hotel. See you all there. Jackie Tyler Erickson

Howdy to all from Texas! It's pegging 100+ degrees here, so I'm all the more thrilled to be coming home (yep, haven't lived there in 26 years, but it's still home to me!)

A big thank you to Darren (and undoubtedly Lisa), along with any others who helped pull this together. I pulled out my yearbook, and have been reminiscing. Oh the memories! I'm really looking forward to seeing you all!

Poor Mr. Hawley. He was a little odd, but I'm sure glad I can type with more than two fingers! :-) Who'd have thunk we'd all end up spending so much time at these blasted keyboards!

Carl Corky Washington Of course Mr. Hawley has his special place in all of our hearts..., but Mr. Blaine and that "dag-gummit" veggimite is the real memory. And when I tell people that we had a football class for credit, they just shake their heads and laugh!
