Dear MMHS 1978 Classmates,

During our 30th Reunion we were raising money to donate to a new Scholarship program being setup by "The Mark Morris High School Foundation".  Karen Kickabush came to our Saturday night function at the Country Club to explain the newly created "Foundation".  Our class was one of the first contributors, contributing $702.00 - thank you!  I will quote Karen's thank you from the "Foundation" below:

"Dear Class of 1978.  Thank you so much for your generous contribution to the Foundation.  We hope that yours will be the first of many class donations.  Providing scholarships and support to the school is our mission and your gift will move us toward that goal.  Please spread the word and put out a challenge to other MMHS graduates to meet or beat your contribution.  Thank you also for allowing me to come to your reunion - It was great to see everyone!"

We as a class have always been special in lots of different ways.  To be the first class to help start the "Foundation" that will last forever is another cool thing that our class can be proud of.  We will try to raise additional money to be contributed to the "Foundation" at each of our reunions in the future. Great job again 1978 grads.  Thank you and God bless the Class of 1978 for having a servants heart even in tough economic times.

Our 30th Reunion is over, but this website www.MarkMorris78.com is going to continue on.  Please keep posting pictures of yourself and family and major events for all to see.  Hopefully this website will keep us together between reunion dates.

The event at the Country Club was an awesome time as usual.  Having our own classmates Joe Martin and Dan Dingman playing again together was priceless.  The dinner and live band were great.  Seeing some old friends who've been missing for years, but are now connected to us again makes us all happy.  Dancing and having fun trying to get everyone to dance was a blast.  Having Jackie Tyler's daughter Colby dancing with us all night and having fun with our class just goes to show you we aren't over the hill just yet.

Our 30th reunion classmate picture will be added to our site as soon as Fran gets back to Texas and gets it online.  Anyone wishing to order one can do so through Fran's link.  For those who took lots of pictures send me the best ones you like and we'll get those on our website.  For anyone who was unable to be with us at the 30th reunion it was our loss. 

We hope you can be with us in 2013 (5 years) on the first Saturday in August just like all our past reunions have been.

All our class thanks you for your work to make this a great event.  Even though our reunion is over please keep finding missing classmates and pointing them to our new website www.MarkMorris78.com .  We will be so organized and ready for our next high school reunion.  By the way I think this one was so fun we are probably going to have a fall or spring get together in 2 or 3 years in Chelan for those who can make it over the Mountains.  I've got a great contact at a waterfront hotel that we can get very low nightly rates in after Labor Day and before Memorial Day.
